Tanya Reinhart, israeliana, è docente di linguistica alle università di Tel Aviv e di Utrecht.
Dal 1993, dopo gli accordi di Oslo, scrive su temi di politica mediorientale.
Tiene una rubrica bisettimanale sul maggiore quotidiano israeliano, Yediot Aharonot, e pubblica articoli su testate internazionali.

l964-l967: The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Departments of Philosophy and Hebrew Literature; B.A.
l967-l969: The Hebrew University, Departments of Comparative Literature and Philosophy; M.A.
l972-l976: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Ph.D. program of the Department of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics; Ph.D. degree awarded in August 1976; Thesis Supervisor: Prof. N. Chomsky.


Current research and teaching areas:

1. Theoretical linguistics: Syntax, Semantics, Discourse, the theory of the Interface
2. Media and cultural studies
