Tanya Reinhart is a professor of linguistics and cultural studies at Tel Aviv University and the University of Utrecht. She contributes a regular critical column to Yediot Aharonot, Israel's biggest daily, and published widely online and in the international media.

l964-l967: The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Departments of Philosophy and Hebrew Literature; B.A.
l967-l969: The Hebrew University, Departments of Comparative Literature and Philosophy; M.A.
l972-l976: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Ph.D. program of the Department of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics; Ph.D. degree awarded in August 1976; Thesis Supervisor: Prof. N. Chomsky.
